Some fences in Des Plaines need a partial rebuild rather than a patch: a run where several posts have failed, or a stretch where panels and rails have all weakened together. Oakbridge Home Services handles partial rebuilds and new fence installation in Des Plaines, as well as repairs to single posts, panels, and gates.
Fence Work in Des Plaines
- Partial fence rebuild for runs with multiple failed posts or panels
- New fence installation for a yard without a sound existing fence
- Post replacement and straightening
- Panel and picket replacement
- Gate section repair and alignment
- Reinforcement of sections that are starting to move
For example, a Des Plaines homeowner with a back run that leans along most of its length might be better served by rebuilding that run, while the side fence, which is still sound, needs only a few pickets. We separate the two in the description and the price, so the work is scoped run by run.
What the Price Depends On
A price is given only after a description. It depends on the length to be rebuilt or installed, the number of posts and panels, the fence height and material, and whether gates are included. To get a price, send a description, photos, your ZIP or address, and your phone number through the Get a Price page, or call or text (224) 584-5800.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a partial rebuild?
It means rebuilding only the run or section that has failed, rather than the whole fence. The remaining sound sections are left in place.
How do I know if I need a new fence?
If posts are failing in several places and panels follow them, a rebuild or new installation is often more sensible than repeated patching. We explain the condition we find so you can decide.
Can a rebuild include a new gate?
Yes, gate sections can be included in a rebuild or a new installation.
What should I send for a price?
A description, photos, your ZIP or address, and your phone number. A price follows that description.
When is the work scheduled?
Timing is agreed when booking, once scope and price are confirmed.
